New Super Record™ 2x12V crankset: a super concentrate of innovation

The new Super Record™ crankset, in carbon fiber lightened inside thanks to the "Hollow Technology" Campagnolo, uses the Ultra-Torque closure system with titanium pin to transfer to the transmission all the power impressed by the athlete on the pedals. The Super Record™ can be mounted on all types of frames, regardless of whether they are for disc brakes or not because it optimizes the chain line on frames with rear stop of 130, 135 or 142 millimeters without affecting the Q factor which, thanks to the new crank design, remains at 145.5 millimeters.

The use of Cult ceramic bearings allows to obtain the now famous smoothness that has become a trademark Campagnolo. The innovative design of the external gear, thanks also to the shaped pin, ensures a faster and quieter uphill derailment. The symmetrical design of the teeth of the internal gear also improves stability at chain crossings. The standard double bolt turn (112 and 145 mm) in combination with the 8 fixing screws, allows the optimization of weight and stiffness, thanks to the greater use of carbon fiber.

The different number of pins for each of the three gear combinations (34/50, 36/52, 39/53) favors derailment uphill thanks to an optimized engagement for each combination. In addition, the particular exhausts present inside the external gears favor the future of the derailment downhill in the dead spots of pedaling, optimizing its performance.
