New 12V Super Record™ chain: thin, robust, smooth and precise

The chain in its apparent simplicity plays a critical and fundamental function for the safety of the cyclist and to optimize the entire transmission mechanism. The Super Record also had to be redesigned to interface with all the other new components of the transmission. The first and fundamental objective was therefore to reduce its overall dimensions. Now the width is 5.15 mm also thanks to the new pins perfectly aligned with the outer surface of the meshes.

The second objective was to safeguard its performance thanks to the Ultra-link system that gives safety and durability to the chain and to a special treatment that guarantees a very high smoothness and precision in shifting.
