Made to meet the needs of the best riders, with the basso possible weight, the XX is the evolution of the previous XX1 Eagle AXS groupset. The new rear derailleur is more durable thanks to the new dropoutless interface and features familiar technologies such as the Overload Clutch and AXS system.

Designed as an integrated, interdependent component, the T-Type gearbox mounts around the same axle as the wheel, in direct contact with the cassette and with a dropout-less interface.

The traditional dropout therefore disappears and a new "Full Mount" mounting system is used: this allows for a much stronger connection, which grips both parts of the frame.
