The 303 S are among the lightest wheels in the Zipp range and are optimised to ensure the best aerodynamic performance with a 28mm tyre, but can fit off-road tyres up to 50mm wide.
The significant innovation is in the design of the new 303 S; The external width of the rim is increased by 2 mm, to 27 mm, and the tire bed is 7 mm wider, 23 mm internal width. The ability to inflate the tyre at lower pressures helps reduce rolling resistance and provides a more comfortable ride accordingly.
Translated into numbers, according to internal tests carried out by Zipp, traveling on a flat road at a speed of 40 km / h with a 28 mm tire, allows you to save 10 watts.
