Tempo Overcurve R4 is a road cycling shoe with versatile performance, quick and easy to wear. It is designed to suit a wide range of cyclists and many types of riding. This shoe was created to offer an essential and timeless look : the classic considerations of a road shoe have been redefined with a distinct fizik identity and an elegant construction that adapts to the form. The iridescent options add a new twist to that style.
The construction of the Overcurve shoe features a staggered collar that wraps around the ankle, tracing the natural misalignment of the two bony protrusions of the ankle: the lateral and medial malleoli.
The result is an asymmetrical shape, with the throat of the shoe curving on the foot from its outer to the inside.
The closure is fast and secure, with a single micro-adjustable dial Boa® IP1-B.
The new moderately stiff R4 outsole, with 15% infused carbon fiber, creates a balance between comfort and pedaling efficiency to make it a true all-rounder. It also provides effective ventilation and internal ducting for temperature management and features cleat positioning suitable for aggressive aerodynamic positions.
