The shape of the Carbon G Myst  was developed in close collaboration with industry technicians and professional athletes. The upper is made of a single piece of microfiber to minimize the number of seams, with an innovative puncture for excellent breathability and an optimal microclimate. Inside, mesh inlays for greater stabilization and support of the foot. 

The 2 D Micro Adjustable Aluminium Buckle locking system allows a perfect and personalized closure of the G Myst and easy adjustment even during the race. The exclusive micrometric closure in satin aluminum is one of the most advanced and functional locking systems on the market today. The micrometric lever acts on a toothed band through two levers: a lower one, to be pulled to increase the tension, and an upper one, to be pressed for release. The lever is interchangeable and, thanks to the tilting opening, allows simple and instant cleaning. 

The Aics device (Adiustable Instep Closure System) allows you to adapt the G Myst Gaerne to any morphology of the foot ensuring a constant hold. This new closure adjustment system,  in shaped PU, is positioned on the instep and is equipped with two micrometric and adjustable ratchets. The tongue that covers the instep is perforated to increase ventilation inside the shoe and is equipped with a soft padding for greater comfort. 

Present in the Carbon G Myst Red is the closure system Safety Lock Strap System, with micrometric velcro patented by Gaerne. Under each Velcro strap, there are two toothed plates that pull and close the strap overlap each other, meshing each other and preventing the strap from opening. 

The back, and precisely the heel, is newly designed, with external air intakes with an anatomical shape and made of plastic material injected to be non-deformable. The fairing is anti-slip and antitendinitis. In the high rear, the SLR inserts allow excellent visibility in low light conditions. In the heel is used a particular material (Memory Cell Interior Foam), which automatically shapes the shape of the foot giving excellent comfort. Given the memory properties and indestructibility of Memory Cell Interior Foam, these characteristics will remain unchanged over time. 

In the Carbon G Myst Red shoe a special natural leather insole is used. The main difference compared to other materials is that natural leather is more breathable. It also has a special anatomical design that actively stimulates the cyclist's foot with each pedal stroke, improving athletic performance. It is hypoallergenic and antibacterial and thanks to a series of micro punctures ensures excellent ventilation of the foot. The insole is also removable.

Two types of soles are available: carbon and nylon. The  Eps Carbon Fiber Sole Gaerne with carbon fiber sole guarantees absolute lightness and high rigidity able to maximize the thrust of the foot. The ultra-thin thickness allows the foot to position itself at a minimum distance from the pedal, ensuring a round pedal without losing energy. Non-slip rubber inserts in the back and front of the sole, provide safety during walking. The rear insert is interchangeable. 

The racing sole par excellence is the Gaerne Evolution Sole built in nylonto guarantee performance at high levels and with a mirrored look. The non-slip rubber insert at the back of the sole provides safety when walking. Both soles are with all quick-release pedals.
