The Maxxis Minion DHR II is completely new. With improved acceleration, cornering control and braking. The side blocks are the same as the legendary Minion DHF, with a larger format to withstand the load of a rear wheel. The central design has an inclined shape to slide faster and brake better. Combine DHR with DHF for best performance! Perfect clincher to use without tube (Tubeless Ready). Triple Compound (3C), with a set of three rubber compounds that improve traction and stability on a bicycle.

The trail version of the Maxxis Minion DHR II features the same tread pattern as its downhill counterpart, but uses a single-thickness carcass to reduce weight. With side caps borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF but enlarged to provide more support, the Minion DHR II has no cornering competitors. The central tread has ramp caps to improve acceleration and slats that allow a smooth transition when leaning. The spatula-shaped caps on the central tread sink into the ground during sudden braking and help keep the vehicle under control. Use it in pairs with a DHF Minion to have aggressive trail riding on the front line! Optimized Wide Trail construction for 35 mm rims.
