The new S5 has reduced drag by 65 grams, increasing the surface area of the frame and reducing the overall weight. The deeper cuts of the frame maximize the shapes allowed by the new UCI regulations. At the same time, the iconic V-leg has been further refined and a new fork has been developed to simplify the entire cockpit.

In addition, in collaboration with Reserve, a new wheel concept has been developed to increase stability and reduce drag in turbulent conditions.
