Noah Fast frame + integrated handlebar
Noah Fast frame + integrated handlebar
N.B. THIS IS ONLY FRAME KIT + HANDLEBAR
The Noah Fast Disc is a pure racing machine, specially designed to achieve maximum speed with minimum effort. Our engineers spent countless hours in the vento gallery perfecting this frame and figuring out where weight could be saved or aspects optimized without sacrificing power. We have optimized the well-known NACA profile and evaluated it for each tube. If you take a look at the F-Wings on the bottom of the fork and the perfect transition between fork and frame, you will see that no detail escaped our attention. Because it's Caleb Ewan's racing la bici , we also focused on the perfect power transfer so that every watt delivers maximum speed. If speed, responsiveness and aerodynamics are essential to you, this is la bici for you!
Ridley Elite Carbon
Our carbon is produced by the world market leader: Toray. The Japanese manufacturer is a leader in every aspect of carbon development and a supplier to the world's top brands in many industries. For the Elite series, we use every type of carbon available: 60T, 50T, 30T and 24T. The higher the "ton strength", the higher the tensile strength of carbon fibers and the more intensive the development and processing. With 60T carbon fiber, you may need fewer layers of carbon to get the stiffness you want and a bike that's as light as possible, but if you used it to build your entire frame, you'd have a very uncomfortable and responsive ride. Therefore, a mixture of 24T, 30T, 50T, and 60T carbon is required, as each type of carbon serves to perfectly balance stiffness, weight, and comfort. The unique carbon mix of each bike depends on the use you make of the bike itself, such as climbing, endurance capacity, etc. In addition, each area of each frame requires a unique mix depending on its function (e.g., comfort or stiffness). And it's in its unique carbon compositions that Ridley makes the difference! All of our pro teams, including Tim Wellens, Caleb Ewan or Thomas De Gendt, use our Ridley Elite series bikes – this means your bike is treated with the same care as theirs.
D-shaped seatpost
The D-seatpost on our aero bikes has a dual aerodynamic function with a strong emphasis on comfort. Aerodynamic elements, such as the profile and groove, typical of F-tubes, are clearly visible. The transverse profile of the seat post is also shorter than that of the shortened NACA profile (e.g.) of the down tube. In addition to being very aerodynamic, this unique D-shaped seatpost is very comfortable. The flat back absorbs shock by integrating flexibility into the seatpost. This is an important extra feature that we have added to our aero bikes, as comfort helps improve performance, especially on long rides.
F-Steerer
The cables at the front of the bike greatly affect its aerodynamic performance. The absence of cables at the front offers an aerodynamic advantage of 10-14%, depending on the bike. That's why our R&D department has put a lot of time and effort into the development of the D-shaped head tube, which integrates all front-end cables. This way, all cables run through the handlebars and stem, along the flat front of the head tube to the frame. Here, the cables are entirely hidden from vento and view, for a fast and clean-looking bike.
Comfort seats
The rear of a bike is crucial for both comfort and maximizing power transmission. For convenience, the seats are connected in basso, on the seat tube. Thanks to this contact point, both the seat tube and the seat post absorb vibrations better. In addition, the saddles have more vertical flexibility. This translates into greater comfort. To gain a few watts, the shape of the saddles is oval, with the wider side on the horizontal axis. This is critical to maximizing power transmission. By placing the wide side horizontally, every watt produced is converted into speed, without the rear wheel losing power.
Noah Fast bike tubes
The Noah Fast is our most tech-savvy bike, and that has a lot to do with tube shapes. Components such as F-Tubing, F-Wings, lowered seat stays, D-seatposts and aerodynamic handlebars are the masters. In addition, the Noah Fast has several truly exceptional technological advantages, such as the integration of the fork and handlebars with the frame. Many developers scrupulously test each component for aerodynamics, but forget to test la bici as a whole. Our analysis method, on the other hand, ensures that all aspects of the bike are tested and that all essential components are seamlessly integrated. In addition, the huge bottom bracket and lowered chainstays play a key role in converting every watt into speed. That's why Caleb Ewan gets on this bike!
