The FR-7 freewheel remover has 12 grooves with an outer diameter of 23 mm and was originally designed for Falcon® brand freewheels, but can fit others with those specific sizes. Heat-treated alloy tool steel, one-inch base for wrench or bench. Thin-walled construction allows use without removal of cones and locknuts
The shape of the FR-7 is similar to the FR-1 (for Shimano®, Sun Race®, Sachs® and similar freewheels). To facilitate the distinction between the two removal devices, the FR-7 has a silver-colored plating. The slightly smaller FR-1 is black.
