We have introduced the new Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric. It's been eight years since Castelli pioneered, incorporating nanotechnology treatments into cycling clothing to provide a higher level of protection from water, without sacrificing breathability or elasticity. We have never stopped in the search to improve the fabric and, after many small improvements, we are ready for the first big update. The two-layer base fabric has a denser mesh and the water-repellent treatment has been improved to offer greater protection. We have not yet achieved our goal of ensuring total waterproofness to a membraneless fabric, but it is a significant improvement in making your rides in adverse weather much more comfortable. This will be the tights that you will use even on dry days. It is an uncompromising garment for all your rides in the cool.
But fabric is not everything. It is a training tights and for this reason it has our Project X2 Air Seamless chamois. For total protection in the inner area of the leg most exposed to splashes, we used a waterproof and totally reflective fabric that guarantees a high degree of safety even at night. The tights have been built with the minimum amount of seams possible, to keep the rain away and make it even more comfortable. This is the most complete tights we know and that we have made with the available technology, but we are already working to make it obsolete as soon as possible.
