The Shelter Road self-adhesive protection is a transparent composite multilayer (20 layers of 20 microns anti-shock, 200 microns anti-scratch, total thickness 0.6 mm) with viscoelastic behavior. Shelter Road is able to greatly increase the impact resistance of carbon fiber composites or metals on which it is applied.
Shelter Road protects against impacts* – dispersing energy within its structure -, resists abrasion, the most common solvents, does not yellow and has a semi-structural adhesion ** to the surface on which it is glued: it is therefore not affected by normal bicycle washes, but can still be removed – if necessary – without damage to the underlying paint.
