The XTR M9120 Shimano front disc water brake includes the brake lever with 1000mm hose and brake caliper with pads, supplied without bleeding. Focusing on weight reduction and braking power in line with the mountain bike, the lever provides intuitive modulation that allows the rider to explore their limits with confidence.
The XTR M9120 grip adopts I-SPEC EV technology that offers a wider range of adjustments for riders of different styles, preferences and body styles to achieve an optimal position. It improves the stability of the brake lever by moving the position of the brake caliper inwards to create an additional point of contact between the handlebars and the lever. This additional reinforcement greatly increases the control of the bike and gears, while maintaining the space between the clamp and the support point for the other handlebar accessories.
The ergonomic design, faster access to the handlebars and smooth operation improve the rider's comfort and concentration.
The XTR M9120 caliper features a MONO-BODY design that is machined from a cold-forged block to maximize stiffness and a pair of ceramic pistons for perfect stopping power tailored to the rider.
The XTR M9120 adapts the ONE WAY BLEEDING technology developed by Shimano for quick and easy air prevention in the water system. The path of the oil in the system has been streamlined to avoid air bubbles in the system. It ensures an easier type of cleaning.
