As the first direct-mounted road brake, the Sram S-900 is a very sophisticated product that completes the Road line. It has a design that offers great power and superior sensations. The construction reduces what engineers call "splay force," transmitting energy to the brake instead of the frame and fork. This results in more efficient energy transfer from the lever to the rim improving modulation and rapid response. The brake can accommodate tires up to 28c and is compatible with all Sram non-hydraulic road levers, including Sram Red® eTap®.
