The i28 wheels expand FSA 's acclaimed KFX range with a product that has been developed in collaboration with elite riders, including those on the Cannondale Factory Racing Team, and combines cutting-edge technology with innovation tailored to the athlete. At the heart of it is the TOTAL CONTROL concept, which offers exceptional stability, responsiveness and precision for the toughest XC, XCO and marathon competitions.
While the carbon rims of the hand-crafted wheels with their asymmetrical construction and variable profile height improve both durability and handling, the aluminum hubs are based on the so-called Power Ratchet System (PRS), which is dedicated to optimized rolling characteristics. Its helical clutch ratchet concept features 72 teeth, which results in an outstanding engagement angle of 5% and matching response performance. Combined with the low weight, this results in a wheelset that has already proven its qualities by winning the Cross Country World Championship.
