The versatile Vision Metron 45 SL Disc wheelset combines optimized aerodynamics with the help of extensive CFD flow analysis and tunnel testing of the vento with the powerful deceleration of disc brakes. Aerodynamic full carbon rims with a 45mm deep profile offer an excellent balance between performance and low weight.

The hubs are equipped with brake disc mounts with central locking and the innovative P.R.A. (Preload Reduction Assembly) system that allows you to easily adjust the preload of the bearings by precisely adjusting the PRA open collar. 2 sealed cartridge bearings at the front and 4 at the rear - mounted on a 17 mm diameter axle - ensure smooth rolling behavior.

To optimally withstand the increased deceleration forces caused by disc brakes, the tubeless rims of these handcrafted wheels are connected to the hubs in a 2:1 ratio using 21 spokes on the front wheel and 24 spokes on the rear wheel and secured by self-locking ABS nipples. The direct drive design of the spokes eliminates the sweet spot of traditional spoke bending.
