Shimano Deore M6100, M5100 & M4100

After the XTR mountain bike flagship has already set standards and the Deore XT and SLX have followed suit, the Deore M6100 now completes the 12-speed line-up of Shimano. It is complemented by components from the M5100 and M4100 series, which will power 11- and 10-speed transmissions at the same high level.

With a price in the entry-level range, the current groups Shimano Deore are not willing to compromise in terms of performance, quality and reliability. Almost everything that distinguishes the older brothers in terms of technology, innovation, performance and range of functions is also found in the Deore components.

Cassette Shimano Deore CS-M6100

The Shimano Deore CS-M6100 cassette is equipped with Hyperglide+ technology, which ensures equally high shift speed, precision and smoothness during ascent and descent and contributes to an extremely quiet transmission. Designed for the Micro Spline freewheel system, the 12-speed cassette covers a wide range with a gradation from 10 to 51 teeth.

Hyperglide+

Conventional Hyperglide technology ensures smooth shifting thanks to small shift ramps that guide the chain to the next larger pinion. Hyperglide+ takes this functionality but also applies it in the opposite direction to prevent the chain from falling during climbing. The result is a smooth and consistent change in both directions, without vibration and without losing cadence.

Micro Splines

The aluminum freewheel with 22 evenly spaced teeth holds the cassette firmly in place for immediate responsiveness and allows the use of a 10-tooth pinion. The smaller and at the same time more spacious teeth than the usual Hyperglide freewheel bodies also prevents damage to the rotor
