WE CALLED THE FIRST AERODYNAMIC JERSEY PROJECT SPLIT SECOND
When Castelli developed the first aerodynamic jersey for road cycling way back in 2006, everyone thought we were crazy. At that time, aerodynamics were only used in time trials. Performance clothing meant managing breathability and you could win the Tour de France with a loose jersey that was little more than a polyester t-shirt. Even our aerodynamics experts expected limited benefits, which is why we called the jersey Split Second. Exactly then as now, we already thought it was worth chasing even a small advantage. In the end, the benefits were substantial and we completely revolutionized the look of professionals in groups.

Now we have arrived at the sixth version of our aerodynamic jersey. Each generation has become more aerodynamic and with a better fit. The Aero Race 6.0 greatly benefits engineering studies through computer simulations of aerodynamic air flows, influencing fabric choice and seam placement. It also benefits from the feedback of Team INEOS riders, considering that we have worked hard to make the jersey comfortable during their long hours of training and racing in all possible weather conditions.

The 6.0 is the most aerodynamic and comfortable version ever made. But we are already working on version 6.1...
