Vectran is a multi-fiber thermoplastic yarn. This partly crystalline fabric is more cut-resistant than aramid, has five times the tensile strength of steel, and is at the same time lighter than a corresponding nylon thread. Vectran maintains these characteristics even in the harshest weather conditions.
