Continental declares 12% less rolling resistance for the 5000, 20% more puncture protection and 10% less weight and offers a smoother and more comfortable ride. The Black Chili compound patented by Continental has been updated with a new formula and laser-engraved tread to offer further improved cornering grip. Continental also states a more aerodynamic clincher surface with less turbulence.
