Over the years, cyclists have noticed an increasing trend in the use of wider tires on road bikes. The Falcn RS is developed around 28mm tires and has a maximum tire clearance of 34mm, offering wider tire clearance than the standard maximum of 28mm found on most current road bikes. This allows for greater comfort and lower rolling resistance, as wider tires can be used at lower pressures.

With its increased tire clearance, the Falcn RS offers superior performance on paved roads and more. The Falcn RS even excels on ruined asphalt roads and cobblestone sections. It is the perfect companion to take on new challenges and perform at the highest level in road racing.

The fork crown features an integrated diffuser to reduce drag. Airflow passes more easily through the fork crown, while additional energy is added. The result is that airflow passes more easily through the down tube without pushing the bike backwards. At the same time, the aerodynamic drag in the area behind the fork and head tube is lower.

The focus in the race bike market was previously focused on stiffness over weight, but has recently shifted towards the balance between aerodynamics and weight. Ridley decided to combine the best of both worlds with the Falcn RS, meaning the Falcn RS has been made as aerodynamic as possible without sacrificing the weight of the bike. The Falcn RS has similar aerodynamic performance to their Noah Fast Disc aero race bike and a weight comparable to their climbing machine, the Helium SLX Disc, which means riders no longer have to choose between light weight and aerodynamics.
