When Colnago developed V3, he thought of all those cyclists who want to get the most out of their investment.

Quality carbon and mounts designed to offer an excellent level of performance and keep costs down make the V3 a perfectly balanced bike from every point of view.

It blends technical solutions that focus on lightness with aerodynamic details. The line is clean and essential, oversized covers up to 28 inches can be fitted. The V3 is available in eight sizes and a single version with disc brakes.

THE GEOMETRY

What's the point of making a lightweight bike if you can't ride it? For this reason, the geometry has been completely redesigned. Summarizing the main features we find the shorter head tube, the longer fork and a greater balance in size between the various sizes. The height of the bottom bracket from the ground has also been modified, it is more basso, to improve the rideability of the bike with the oversized tires (28c).

THE FORK

It has been developed for maximum compatibility with the disc brake system. The new shape with concave chainstays at the top (front view) optimizes wheel clearance by allowing the use of wide tires (28c), comfort and lateral stiffness.

SEATPOST CLOSURE

Much of the effort has been concentrated in this area of the frame, both to reduce the overall weight of the locking system and to increase its functionality, power and safety. The new locking system is therefore smaller compared to that of the V2-r and C64, better integrated into the body and allows greater modulation in tightening.
