The Skin Layer line is only the latest of the most recent innovations to come out of the laboratory and on which the Assos production team has worked tirelessly to achieve a result in line with expectations. This protective layer forms the basis of the Assos Layering System and allows you to keep your upper body dry and protected during cooler spring and autumn days.

The Spring/Fall Skin Layer is a completely revamped first layer and is now also about 11% lighter than its predecessor skinfoil. Made with Circular Seamless technology, the fabric does not have any side stitching source of irritation, because it is a uniform tubular mesh, ultra soft on the skin. Composed of a mixture of carbon fibers and polypropylene suitable for cooler temperatures, it is now able to handle moisture and insulation much better than previous versions. The result is a soft, insulating and antibacterial short-sleeved layer that keeps the body dry and protected under the top layers.
