The new integrated handlebar colnago CC.01 will also be available with the C68. Usually integrated handlebars are built using several layers of carbon glued together, both on the handlebar and on the stem. However, the Colnago CC.01 handlebar is made in one piece, completely monocoque, to the benefit of weight savings and rigidity.

This technical choice was developed during construction through a particular combination of molds that allows four different handlebar width options (370, 390, 410 and 430 mm upper center) along with seven different stem lengths (80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130 and 140 mm). 16 combinations will be available.

It has a relatively long range, a compact drop and a decent flare (+2 cm), but not an outsweep. The drops have a flair of 2 cm (410 mm at the top becomes 430 mm in basso), with the exception of the 370 size which has a flair of 14 mm. The reach is 80 mm (75 mm for size 370) and the drop is 122 mm (119 mm in size 370). The angle of attack is 84 degrees.

The wider base of the drop greatly improves the control of the bike downhill, while the design responds to today's demand to improve aerodynamics to increase performance.

The longer stem (compared to the standard 75 mm of compact handlebars) creates a more "inside la bici" position on descents and a much larger flat surface, for greater palm comfort with any type of brake lever. The Colnago CC.01 handlebar is designed for modern wireless and wired electronics and internal cable routing, but is still compatible with external passage and crown brakes.

Why was a new handlebar made? For several reasons:

The handlebar Colnago CC.01 is lighter than the market average when compared to other handlebars optimized for internal wiring (weight 310 g for size 110-410).

The minimal look of the paint job was chosen for its lightness: the handlebar will be available in a single-color version with glossy black graphics on a matt black finish.

The colnago CC.01 handlebar has been aerodynamically optimized

Colnago CC.01 is backwards compatible with the C64 and V3Rs models, both with rim and disc.

The CC.01 Colnago will have a dedicated computer mount with a "GoPro style" bayonet and two different support lengths, compatible with Garmin, Wahoo, Bryton and Hammerhead.

The handlebar kit is completed by the dedicated spacer kit, the steering cap containing the multitool and an optional cap that allows you to adjust the height of the fork before cutting it.

As per tradition Colnago to maintain maximum compatibility with any type of athlete, it is guaranteed the possibility of mounting any handlebar with a diameter of 31.8 with retractable cables using the stem Deda Superbox. Finally, compatibility with the integrated handlebar Deda Alanera is also guaranteed.
