eTAP
Wireless switching, battery energy management and mechatronics – our RED eTAP technology has one goal: to give you the most intuitive operation possible. We refer to the switching logic at the base as eTAP. The right lever shifts to upper gear, the left to lower gear. You can control the crowns using both levers.    Simple, Fluid and intuitive.

Orbit™
Orbit™ technology is an innovative new form of derailleur motion control. It uses silicone fluid as part of a sleek, ultra-light shock absorber system. Compared to a traditional friction clutch system, Orbit technology does not create additional resistance on the rear derailleur spring during slow or light movements. This means easier gear shifting and easier removal of the rear wheel.    During the race, The liquid shock absorber holds the chain in a refined and elegant way. With maximum reliability and chain tension, for double and single systems.
