The K-Force OS-99 CSI mount has a 3-D forged and CNC forged AL2014 body on which a layer of Uni-Directional Carbon (UD) is applied using the Carbon Structural Integration (CSI) process. To further reduce weight, the OS-99 features a 4-screw faceplate in AL2014 alloy/carbon and the remaining titanium hardware. The CSI process permanently binds carbon to aluminum, making the attachment a full-fledged hybrid product, giving it the benefits of both materials.
