The motor has been redesigned to deliver much higher torque and offer a better indoor cycling experience and feel, especially on climbs and sprints. The system is still able to offer its renowned characteristics, such as road feeling, dynamic inertia and downhill simulation. Pedaling analysis has been improved and can now be viewed with third-party apps, so you can improve power distribution and riding performance with the software of your choice. This bike trainer is also easier to use because it is compatible with almost all rear axles.

Silent

With the NEO 2T Smart Tacx revolutionized the market by creating something that was thought to be impossible: a completely silent trainer. Thanks to the redesign of the internal components, it has been possible to significantly improve the quietness. The noise of internal air movements is further reduced, as well as the vibrations perceived at low cadence.

Powerful

The new engine design greatly improves the driving experience. The NEO 2T's motor has been equipped with more power, which means that higher drag values can be generated under certain conditions, such as sprinting or low speeds. The very powerful resistance unit is capable of simulating climbs of up to 25% and sprints of up to 2200 watts.

Pedal travel analysis

The NEO 2T Smart is equipped with a capacitive left and right detection sensor that measures the exact position of both legs. This allows for detailed and accurate pedaling analysis to improve power distribution and riding performance. By adding the standard ANT+ cycling dynamics, you can analyze your pedaling via third-party software, for example on a Garmin Edge bike computer.

Features

The already known features of the NEO 2 Smart remain, such as the Road Feel function , which allows you to experience the sensation of vibration that you get from cycling on cobblestones, gravel and many other road surfaces (available in Tacx Films and Zwift). Or dynamic inertia, which compensates for weight, speed and lean angle to create a very realistic driving experience. Thanks to the downhill simulation, this bike trainer can accelerate when pedaling downhill. Thanks to the unique Isokinetic and Isotonic modes, you can not only train for a smooth ride, but also improve your pedaling power by training at high power and low cadence.

Maintenance-free

To make your indoor training as smooth as possible, a completely maintenance-free bike trainer has been developed: No adjustments are required to train with the NEO 2T Smart. It is also the only trainer that does not require a calibration process because, unlike other trainers, there are no internal gears. This means that it can measure performance with incredible precision and ensure that the data is reliable and accurate. All to allow you to focus on training.

Interactive

This fully interactive smart trainer measures speed, cadence and power and can be controlled from the app of your choice. It connects wirelessly via ANT+ (FE-C) and Bluetooth to cycling apps like Tacx, Zwift, or TrainerRoad in an instant. Updating to the latest firmware is no problem with the Tacx Utility app, so you can always take advantage of the latest improvements and features.

Alone

The smart electronics of the NEO 2T Smart also allow you to train alone without software connections. The resistance follows a progressive power curve, similar to that of cycling on a flat road. Add to that the fact that this direct-drive trainer is self-sufficient and doesn't require an external power source, and you have the ideal companion for the training camp or warm-up for a race!

Adapter

The rear axle of the NEO 2T Smart has been redesigned to make it compatible with most bicycles without the need for adapters. Just one click and go! An additional adapter is required only for the 135 x 10 mm and 135 x 12 mm axes.
