To align the beloved XT groupset to the new 12-speed standard and deliver top performance, Shimano introduces the CS-M8100 sprocket pack. The cassette incorporates the Micro Spline body technology of the XTR 12V and the Hyperglide+ tooth profile, making shifting even quieter and more efficient.

- Reduces cassette inertia with faster acceleration and greater chain stability.
- Sprocket plus basso 10D made according to the new manufacture of the Spline bodice.
- Compatibility: 12 speeds.
- Not compatible with Shimano Standard bodices.
- The first ten sprockets in steel, the last two in black anodized aluminum.
- Available combinations: 10-45D, 10-51D.

Hyperglide+ helps to tackle rough terrain without bumps and interruptions by reducing the impact of pedaling and change times by 1/3. (compared to the previous HG system).
Micro Splines
Micro Spline offers an aluminum body that reduces weight and integrates exclusively with sprocket packs of equal configuration. Smaller grooves, distributed over a larger area, limit damage to the cassette and increase its overall life.
