La Falcn Essential si basa sul successo della Falcn RS. La geometria delle prestazioni e lo spazio per gli pneumatici di 34 millimetri sono identici, così come la corona della forcella con diffusore e l'attacco universale del deragliatore (UDH).
Questa geometria è stata accuratamente progettata dagli sviluppatori di prodotti Ridley con particolare attenzione alla velocità, alla stabilità e alla reattività. La lunghezza del tubo di sterzo è inferiore a quella della Noah Fast e della Helium SLX, per offrire una posizione di guida più aggressiva. Il movimento centrale è posizionato più in basso perché è stato adattato alla possibilità di pedalare con pneumatici più spessi, in modo che il ciclista mantenga un ottimo controllo.
I punti di differenza sono il reggisella rotondo della Falcn Essential (contro il reggisella a D della Falcn RS) e la composizione del carbonio. Tuttavia, il telaio della Falcn Essential pesa solo 990 grammi.
