Improved spokes and hubs give the Cosmic SL 45 a light and lively feel when accelerating. The rim features a 45 mm deep and 26 mm wide NACA profile, specially developed to ensure all-round performance on flat or hilly terrain. The wheels are developed, designed and patented by Mavic in Annecy, France. They are 100% handcrafted in the European carbon factory in Mavic.

Details of Mavic Cosmic SL 45 Disc Carbon

The shape of the rim bottom makes it easier than ever to mount tires. Using UST tubeless means there is no inner tube. The result is less friction and more air volume for a smoother, faster ride with ultra-low rolling resistance. The revised spokes make the wheel 80g lighter than its predecessor, the Cosmic Pro Carbon UST. Combined with the Infinity hub platform, which offers a fast and responsive feel, they are stiffer and more efficient. The Cosmic SL 45 Disc has been specially developed for disc brakes and features an optimized spoke count and lacing.
