Low and very low temperatures. Windy and rainy days. Light or intense outings. Polartec® active insulation technologies offer a very wide thermal range, managing to provide constant warmth with exemplary breathability.

CONSTRUCTION

Polartec® Power Shield™ Pro is a breathable, windproof and waterproof membrane of plant origin and PFAS-free. It uses molecular diffusion, rather than micropores, to expel water vapor while maintaining a barrier against water droplets. Having no micropores, this new technology cannot clog or lose breathability.

Polartec® is used for internal insulation. Alpha®, a fabric designed for US special forces, who needed superior insulation with optimal breathability, in combat conditions with continuous start and stop. It combines hydrophobic fibers with a solid mesh anima to create active air circulation. It is very light, compressible and instantly removes the moisture generated by exertion.

The combination of both layers manages to disperse excess heat and moisture, while blocking cold air and rain.

The collar is designed in the same way, with an outer piece that continues the structure of the jacket, insulating from water and vento, while the inner piece ensures a perfect fit and a feeling of great softness.

Taped seams in the shoulder area prevent water from seeping in and give the garment a very personal look.

The Japanese YKK double zipper can be placed in two positions: the first fully insulating, for maximum protection from the elements, and the second that opens an internal mesh bellows that allows air to enter when more ventilation is needed.

On the back, there is an opening with an internal channel, which channels airflow outward when using the second hinge position, and extracts residual heat if using the first position.

The cuffs, very elastic, are designed for the use of gloves, adapting to them to block drafts and obtain a perfect fit to the wrist.

A large carrying capacity is available thanks to the three GRS external pockets. A ventilation and water evacuation system is added, consisting of a bellows on the bottom.

The neoprene rear skirt offers extra protection against splashes from the rear wheel.

To improve visibility, it is equipped with reflective inserts on the arms and on the back skirt.
