CULT BEARINGS
Fulcrum racing Zero CMPTZN is equipped with CULT™ (CERAMIC ULTIMATE LEVEL TECHNOLOGY)™ BEARINGS MADE THROUGH THE USE OF A SPECIAL STEEL FOR THE BEARING RACEWAYS.
It is a material with a very high resistance to corrosion that allows the balls to be lubricated with a thin layer of oil instead of normal grease. The high-quality ceramic balls, thanks to the absence of lubricating grease and the precision of the machining of the bearings, allow to drastically reduce the coefficient of friction.
As a result, the smoothness of the wheels is increased by as much as 9 times compared to standard solutions. This means that the CULT™ bearings allow you to maintain higher speeds and save the athlete valuable energy.

2-WAY FIT
Fulcrum racing Zero CMPTZN is equipped with a rim with a 2-Way Fit profile compatible with tubeless-ready tires.
Tubeless technology was adopted in the automotive industry, then in the motorcycle industry, and finally in cycling. After the debut with the mountain bike, it is time to "put it on the road" by proposing new types of wheels for racing bikes. This is how we developed the 2-Way Fit technology to ensure the perfect compatibility of our tubeless rims even with normal clinchers and inner tubes. The 2-Way Fit wheels are perfectly versatile to tackle any situation.
Thanks to a special imprint in the valve area, the assembly of the inner tubes takes place with the utmost precision, keeping the chamber perfectly stable inside the clincher. The valve for tubeless tires is also housed without risk, with the undoubted advantage that there is never any air infiltration due to a non-optimal positioning at the time of assembly.

OVERSIZED FLANGES
The development of the Oversize Flange was born from the need to create a system capable of transmitting every watt to the ground without dispersion, stiffening the wheel system where necessary without having to add spokes or superstructures that would add weight.
The oversized flange uses physics to solve the problem: it increases the camber of the spokes and allows them to be shortened. In addition, the doubling of the radii creates a balanced system that is able to transmit torque in an excellent way.

DRP - DIRT ROAD PROTECTION
Fulcrum racing Zero CMPTZN is equipped with the new bearing protection kit, applicable to all wheels, it is intended to be used in difficult traffic conditions such as rain, mud or dust - cyclocross or gravel.
