30C Advantages:

· The wider tyre is faster because there is less energy lost in the deformation of the tyre and does not increase the size of the contact surface on the ground, but becomes wider, this means an improvement in cornering grip.

· The clincher undergoes less deformation so it slides more. Rolling resistance, in fact, depends on the energy absorbed during rolling.

· If the tyre flexes too much, internal friction generates energy dispersion (the tyre heats up) and therefore also increases rolling resistance.

· With high-profile wheels the stiffness of the rim can be compensated for by the larger size of the tire.
