La protezione autoadesiva Shelter Road è un multistrato composito trasparente (20 strati da 20 micron anti-urto, 200 micron anti-graffio, spessore totale 0,6 mm) con comportamento viscoelastico. Shelter Road è in grado di aumentare notevolmente la resistenza agli urti dei compositi in fibra di carbonio o dei metalli su cui è applicato.
Shelter Road protegge dagli impatti* – disperdendone l’energia all’interno della propria struttura -, resiste all’abrasione, ai più comuni solventi, non ingiallisce ed ha un’adesione** di tipo semi-strutturale*** alla superficie su cui è incollato: non risente quindi dei normali lavaggi della bicicletta, ma può essere comunque rimosso – se necessario – senza danni alla vernice sottostante.
