The V5Rs is the latest evolution of the Colnago V-Series. The Colnago lighter.

The V5Rs is the lightest Colnago ever built, with a paint-ready frame weighing just 685 grams. The frame weighs 12.5% less than its predecessor, without compromising on rigidity.

Thinner profiles.

The experience gained with the Y1R has made it possible to perfect the design of the V5R, which features slender and powerful profiles. In the vento tunnel, the aerodynamic performance is close to that of the best aerodynamic frames.

Reduced frontal area.

The front area of the V5R measures 250 cm², 13% less than the previous model. The further development of the now narrower head tube helps to reduce drag and save watts.

Rigid and responsive.

The V5Rs combines lightness and aerodynamics without compromising stiffness and responsiveness, guaranteeing performance that meets the needs of the professional riders of the UAE team.

More precise guidance.

The V5Rs is equipped with a new, lighter and more precise fork. The 32 mm wheel clearance allows the use of wider tires: greater grip, rideability and speed on uneven terrain.

Absolute carbon quality.

Thanks to new lamination techniques, the arrangement of carbon fibers in each area of the frame is studied and controlled. The result is a lightweight, strong and durable structure.
