New mechanical Super Record™ 2x12V derailleur: lightness, design, fluidity and efficiency

The new mechanical Super Record™ 2x12V derailleur presents many technical innovations starting from the linkage system designed to speed up derailment. The effort required to carry out the derailment is lower thanks to the doubling of the front connecting rod that avoids contact with the end of stroke screw. While the shape of the internal half-fork is designed to ensure maximum readiness of uphill derailment, the external monolithic one, thanks to its carbon fiber composition, has a shape that enhances the effectiveness of the uphill movement of the chain and the promptness and fluidity downhill.

The aesthetic impact of this component is consistent with the rest of the Super Record group thanks to the use of unidirectional carbon fiber and titanium screws. The micro adjustments of the position of the derailleur, activated by the controls, allow to avoid any contact with the chain even in cases of maximum crossing. As far as compatibility is concerned, the new Super Record™ derailleur allows the use of covers up to 32 mm thanks to the new upper connecting rod and the double fixing position of the drive cable.
