Per ottimizzare il funzionamento a 11 velocità abbiamo riprogettato il profilo dei denti. Dai nostri studi è nato il sistema ESP (Enhanced Shifting Performance) ACTUATION SYSTEM™, appositamente sviluppato per migliorare il sincronismo della deragliata. Grazie al nuovo design degli ingranaggi, ora ci sono due settori specializzati per la deragliata in salita, diametralmente opposti, e due settori di deragliata in discesa, sempre diametralmente opposti. Una soluzione che permette di deragliare istantaneamente sia a salire che a scendere. Il colore più scuro degli ingranaggi è dovuto ad un nuovo sistema di anodizzazione, che conferisce maggiore resistenza all'usura ed alla corrosione salina.
