In the year of its centenary, Salice takes up and rediscovers the motif of the lines of the past to make them more current and modern than ever in terms of, of course, materials and construction technology. The technology of this new eyewear is absolutely avant-garde with the large cylindrical lens in high-contrast HC polycarbonate. Protection and field of vision go even further in 023: the full-lens model has an absolutely exceptional fit for super face coverage. It wraps so much and so well that it is aerodynamic in its line and almost resembles a small goggle, where, however, all the "light" characteristics and "freedom", it can be said, that a sunglass offers remain intact. The new Salice eyewear is ideal for all those sports - cycling first of all - where the search for a product that combines protection, field of vision, lightness and stability when wearing it is increasingly high. Lightweight and resistant, the 023 eyewear, which is full-frame, carries its highly effective airflow system designed to reduce fogging in the temples (on which Salice in modern 3D printing is located). It is printed in Grilamid with the inside of the tips in anti-slip Megol rubber. The nose pad, with the direct support on the face, guarantees comfort and prevents the glasses from slipping.

Technologies

Anti-reflective coating

The anti-reflective coating is carried out on the inside of the lens to eliminate the glare that forms when light is reflected off the lens itself. The result is an increase in contrast and a better perception of images.

Hydrophobic treatment

Lenses treated with IDRO technology undergo a special process that makes their surface smoother than a normal lens, so dirt and water slide off quickly and the lens stays clean. Lenses treated with IDRO technology are perfect for outdoor sports activities: water, dust and dirt stains will no longer be a problem. In addition to the obvious practical benefit, these new lenses guarantee better and always clear vision.

High contrast lens

The light that filters into the human eye is divided into the visible spectrum, in the wavelengths between 380 and 780 nm, and the non-visible spectrum, which includes light in the ultraviolet range (UV light) and in the infrared range (IR light). The blue component of light between 380 and 500 nm is also known as high-energy visible light (HEV). Blue light filter lenses elicit a "sensation" in those who wear them due to the effect of the chemical components and oxides used in dyes and colored coatings. This treatment stimulates the receptor cells of the retina, creating a sensation in the brain for each specific color of the lens. The colors are seen as "pop" and adapt to any type of sporting and non-sporting activity. In particular, the colors red, green and yellow are able to filter through the treated lens creating greater contrast, a better separation of visible colors and a greater sense of depth. The result ensures faster reactions and better performance for those who wear them.

RW Rainbow Lens

The Rainbow scratch-resistant polycarbonate lens is subjected to a "multi-layer" tint on the front which aims to reduce reflections from dazzling surfaces (water, snow and ice) and at the same time increase the filtering power of the lens. UV400 protection ensures maximum coverage from ultraviolet rays.
