The human eye cannot separate the horizontal and vertical light rays of which light is composed. Polarized lenses contain a special "polarizing filter" that absorbs horizontal light, which is responsible for glare and image distortion effects, and only lets vertical light through. The use of polarized lenses guarantees optimal vision, correct perception of colors and contrast and greater comfort thanks to the absorption of reflections that normally tire the eye.
