For this tyre, a versatile tread has been designed suitable for a wide variety of soil conditions, from compact to more inconsistent soils, passing through rocky surfaces, stony ground and roots. The medium-high knobs with a ramp design have been designed to reduce rolling resistance, to ensure adequate grip over the entire profile and facilitate the overcoming of obstacles with excellent cushioning. The side knobs with an aggressive arrangement have been designed to offer maximum grip when cornering. These characteristics make it optimal for both all-mountain and enduro disciplines. EPS puncture protection (Outstanding puncture safety) is achieved by inserting a patented rubber-coated polyester layer between the casing and the tread. The tight weave of this lightweight, puncture-resistant layer does not allow foreign objects to penetrate the casing and damage the chamber.
