WHAT IS VITAMIN CL

- Vitamin CL (or V-CL) is a polymer powder with particles of very precise particle size and density, which mixes easily with Caffélatex.

HOW DOES THAT WORK

- Added directly to our sealant inside the tire, 10% Vitamin CL (e.g. 5 ml of V-CL per 50 ml of Caffélatex) increases the maximum repairable puncture size, from 4-5 mm to 8 mm (and more), with shorter repair times and less pressure loss.

- Extensive field testing with sponsored teams has shown that V-CL is easy to use and does not compromise the durability of Caffélatex. Despite this, we recommend the use of V-CL for race use and recommend more and more frequent valve maintenance when using Caffélatex together with V-CL.

HOW TO USE IT

Larger particles of Vitamin CL do not pass easily through the valve, so the best procedure is as follows: with the tire mounted on the rim, open it on one side for a length of about 10 cm and add Caffélatex.

Pour 10% of V-CL directly into the Caffélatex inside the tyre. V-CL comes in a 200 ml jar with a 5 ml measuring cup. If the recommended amount of sealant for the tyre specification is for example 100 ml, add 2 scoops (10 ml) of V-CL. It is important to pour V-CL over the sealant, to "moisten" the powder and help it distribute evenly.

WHY IT WAS CREATED

Caffélatex is a very reliable sealant. Professional athletes and recreational cyclists all over the world use and appreciate it: it can be injected through the valve, contains no ammonia and becomes foamy when shaken, with optimal coverage of the inner surface of the tire.

Especially professional cyclists (but also us mortals) sometimes want to have a more performing sealant in a race or for an important event. Instead of adding a more concentrated (and less durable) sealant to our range, we have chosen to develop a specific product in its own right, to increase the repairing power of Caffélatex only when necessary.

QUANTITY

- Vitamin CL comes in 200 ml resealable jars, with a 5 ml measuring cup. One jar of Vitamin CL is enough for 2000 ml of Caffélatex.
