Technology

MagicZero™

MagicZero works by continuously monitoring signals from the meter during movement. When the signals meet specific criteria for a period of time, an average value is recorded. By accumulating this data, a new Zero-offset is eventually recorded, which will save assembly, replacement and calibration times. MagicZero allows you to automatically manage the Zero-offset from the power meter without any specific action from the user. Typically, MagicZero's measurements occur when la bici is stationary, stopping or pedaling slowly. But, as noted above, the policy was designed to reject values inconsistent with average registrations. The MagicZero algorithm has been designed to be continuously running and achieve stable convergence on the correct Zero-offset. If at any time an incorrect zero-offset is applied, the algorithm is designed to self-correct without user intervention.

Note: The XX1 power meter spider must be paired with an XX1 Eagle™ DUB crankset with 8 screws and an X-Sync 2™ crown with 104 BCD (not included).
