With extensive experience at the highest levels of motocross and the Grand Prix of speed, FIVE has developed an ultra-protective glove that you will forget to wear, to the delight of downhill fanatics who demand extreme riding precision without sacrificing safety. What you will notice first of the DH are its ventilated polyurethane shells, copied directly from motorcycle gloves. Downhill, the outer part of the hand is particularly exposed. Trees and rocks are just some of the many elements that the hand can hit. For this reason, Five coated the outside of the hand with full-grain leather and a large stretch Kevlar panel that contains a soft PU protective shell. The whole is held together by Kevlar seams, which provide excellent tear resistance. The edge of the glove features 2mm of gel padding embedded in an Airprene band which in turn measures 2mm and provides excellent wrist support. The soft TPR and hook-and-loop strap allow for ultra-precise adjustment, and the hook-and-loop tab lets you put it on and off in the blink of an eye. The DH AX Suede Cinco synthetic suede palm is molded with silicone for an ideal grip on the handlebars and a softness worthy of even the thinnest gloves. The thumb covered with Terry Black MicroWipe fabric allows you to easily clean your forehead after a difficult run. Finally, you can easily activate the GoPro from your smartphone thanks to the conductive wires of the thumb and forefinger. The DH protects you, without holding you back, from the first to the last second of your descent.
