To charge the SHIMANO STEPS battery without removing it from the E-BIKE, the EC-E8004-1 charger offers fast charging times and a small connector. In addition, it is able to charge the battery directly using an adapter.

- Fast charging, from met to 80% charge in 1 hour, from low battery up to 80% in 2.5 hours, low to fully charged battery in 4.5 hours
- Similar waterproof levels of 5 or higher (IPX5)
