Magura eSTOP Optimised 180/P Kit - 8.S

The eSTOP Optimised kits make Magura MT disc brakes ready for use on e-bikes. The kits include one of the proven MDR brake discs and the number of sport brake pads needed for a brake caliper.

The MDR-P brake disc with 6-hole mount is aimed at performance-oriented riders and is suitable for the toughest applications, from downhill to e-bikes and heavy cargo bikes. Compared to the one-piece MDR-C, the two-piece MDR-P disc even saves weight.

The special feature of the brake disc is a patented interlocking of the outer and inner ring, called Dovetail Interlink Technology. When the outer ring expands due to heat, the inner ring is further supported by this interlocking. In contrast to floating discs, the torque is thus transmitted over the entire surface instead of just through the rivets.

The result is increased brake disc rigidity and particularly direct heat dissipation under continuous load. Plus, there's less vibration, making the lightweight MDR-P disc perfect for gravity use.

Sport organic brake pads are suitable for everyday and sporty rides, and especially for use on e-bikes. In terms of braking performance, they are positioned between the Comfort and Performance pads of Magura. Their pad compound is optimally adapted to the needs of e-bikes and eSTOP brake models. Thanks to a shorter braking time, the Magura Sport brake pads are also ready for use particularly quickly.
