Technology

Synchro Shift
Initially introduced with the XTR Di2 M9050 groupset, the innovative Synchro Shift technology is now available on the Dura Ace R9150.

It is a programmable Di2 function that creates an intuitive experience on the bike through the synchronization of the front derailleur and rear derailleur, which can be programmed directly by the user. In addition to the "Full Synchro" function, it is also possible to use a "Semi Synchro" function: this is a new mode that reacts automatically when the rider switches from one chainring to another, also changing the position of the rear derailleur together to reduce the jump in gear, thus preserving the right rhythm.

The Synchronized Shift system can be programmed and customized thanks to the Shimano E-Tube software.
