The main component of Vredestein inner tubes is butyl, a synthetic rubber with very low gas permeability.

This allows the bladder to maintain the desired pressure for longer. Vredestein inner tubes are inflatable autoclave inner tubes, manufactured with the Unitube system, which means they are suitable for tires of various sizes. Autoclave tubes are easy to install with a thin layer of talcum powder applied to the outside of the tube.
