This year, having the feedback from Team Sky riders meant travelling to Belgium, Nice, Manchester and all over Italy, as well as making several Skype calls talking about races and training programs. The recurring feedback of runners regarding the Free Bibshort (the same one you were able to buy already in 2018) was really very good. The only changes they asked us were to insert a ring that stabilized the microphone for the radio to be used in the race and for a corridre to move the case back a little further back. And it's not just Team Sky who loves him. The 2018 version of the Free Aero Race Bibshort is the best-selling Castelli product ever.
For 2019 we thought of improving it with some crucial changes, not because Team Sky or you asked us to do it, but because we used it a lot during our rides, always thinking about what we could do to improve it. There is a new edge, raw cut that remains flat on the leg, but now has vertical non-slip silicone applications for greater adherence to the skin without reducing its elasticity.
The new fabric allows better print quality for your team's custom production and is the same that will be used by Team Sky in 2019.We worked on the seams to improve the fit and to make the shorts even more beautiful to look at once worn. We have perfected the suspenders with a new, more durable fabric and a new realization that makes them adhere better to the body and, at the same time, keeps you drier. The revised version of the Free Aero Race 3 Bibshort is also enriched by the seamless bottom Project X2 Air Seamless, it has the softest surface you will ever find in a pad.
