The Shimano Ultegra R8000 assembly is the successor to the popular Ultegra 6800 Shimano series.

The R8000 group features almost all the technologies of the Dura Ace R9100 group. Recognizable aesthetic features such as the asymmetrical crankset, the rear derailleur with Shadow technology and the compact front derailleur seem to be a direct copy.

What makes the Ultegra R8000 group unique is mainly the color, weight and price. The great braking and shifting performance of the Shimano Dura Ace R9100 group can now also be found in the Ultegra R8000 Shimano group!
